sound insulation slamming doors
the room lacked sound insulation. i could hear walking from the floors above, and guests and cleaning staff slammed doors. it was hard to get to sleep because of this. avoiding this might mean staying on the top floor, but i am not sure.

Charming Stay Near Gare de Lyon
neat room perfect location quiet room
The room was very super tidy. The location near the main Metro Line was perfect for getting to Disneyland. I found all the facilities at the hotel were immaculate. The room provided a very quiet atmosphere.
The soundproofing was good from outside but not from inside.

a tender haven
prime location fresh snacks dining option towel warmer
the staff welcomed me with such kindness. i felt immediately at ease, i found fresh snacks and lemon water awaiting in the lobby. the prime location near the main station provided easy access to many places, and i discovered some good dining options nearby. i loved the towel warmers, this was an extra touch of comfort.
the room aesthetic was basic. i do think some artwork would make a warmer atmosphere.

an elevator made access to the upper floors very easy, this was particularly convenient with luggage. mint water was available in the lobby. the hotel is on a quiet street, this ensures a peaceful stay.

mixed feelings about the stay
internal noise bare room
The noise levels were quite disruptive. I could hear every footstep from the room above at all hours. it's supposedly soundproof from outside, but internal noise was a real problem, even with earplugs. the room felt quite bare. Wall art was missing and a fridge was also absent. These small details could have enhanced the stay.
